Meet Lulu Diva, Tanzania Emerging Music Queen

When it comes to cross over appeal very few actors/actress make the transition into music smoothly and  that has a lot to do with their talent. But actress turned singer Lulu Diva, who is best know for her  participation on the 2013 miss Tanzanian contest in which she topped on country levels that caught the  attention of every Tanzanian around. And it’s safe to say it’s not only because of her looks.

Lulu Abass, better know as Lulu Diva, has been making her rounds as a singer with hit songs like Utamu,  Milele featuring Barnabas and Usimuache but now she’s adding another title to her resume. The Zanzibar  native just signed to Main switch Group Kenya and released a huge smash called “Give it to me” that has  been making its way into rotation at every major radio station with her videos gathering 2.1 million viewers 

on popular video streaming site YouTube.

With the success and exposure she receives from her music, Lulu Diva has been able to capitalize off of  her growing popularity having her songs attain number one position on East Africa popular charts,Mambo  mseto on citizen Radio#Connect on Radio Maisha Hot Breakfast on hot 96(Kenya) Xxl on Clouds Fm Planet Bongo on East Africa radio,(Tanzania) Though it is too soon to predict if she has gained enough  traction to be the next Tiwa Savage or Wizkid, one thing for certain is she has the talent to take her far.

Here is her most recent work titled GIVE IT TO ME, with over 400k views on youtube and gaining massive airplay in East and West Africa radio stations this is a major statement that Lulu Diva is here to stay.
