EX REAL MADRID STAR DAVID BECKHAM REACTS TO ZIDANE'S APPOINTMENT

David Beckham reacted to the announcement that Zinedine Zidane has been appointed as Real Madrid manager with a joyous post on Instagram congratulating his former teammate.
The pair played together at Madrid for three years after Beckham moved to the Bernabeu from Manchester United in 2003. They failed to win any silverware during their spell on the pitch together.
But Beckham doesn’t seem to doubt that Zidane will deliver on the touchline, deliriously asking if it could get any better than this. Well, considering how quickly Madrid dumped Benitez, the answer is definitely yes.
Zidane has only ever coached the Castilla side and, while it worked out for Pep Guardiola, it’s fair to say that Barcelona, while also being cut-throat, is not as cut-throat as Madrid.
Beckham wrote: “Does it get any better than this ?? A man that has been the best at a game we all love , taking over of a club that myself and many more people love… Someone with drive , passion and also doesn’t accept failure on any level.. Taking over from a manager that has huge experience and respect in the game , but taking on a position that he will relish … THE BEST PERSON FOR THE JOB”
Nobody doubts Zidane’s tactical intelligence and he’ll be able to command the respect of the players who refused to get along with step-father figure Rafa Benitez. See Beckham’s post below.
